No ‘What ifs’
Today, the 2nd Daws Brother is moving across the country in pursuit of a crazy dream. Why do we do it? This quote has something to do with it.

We do it because we don’t want to look back on our lives and ask ‘What if’. Here’s to no regrets.

This quote has been pinned to my cork board next to my desk for longer than I can remember. Aside for the meaningfulness of the words, when was the last time a modern day leader said something so enduring. go and plant yourself.

This is such a fantastic quote. Something to live by for sure.
My excuse is that I have nobody to support me. That holds me back. I can’t film, direct, act etc as one person alone. I have people who want the same result as me but they either don’t take me seriously or they can’t make the sacrifice.
like I say, it’s my excuse.
Maybe I should just go out and film something and if I make a mess then I can learn a lesson and move on. Or if no-one is free then too bad – for them.
Hey Phillip, check out our early shorts. They were all no budget, no crew, no actors. Don’t let lack of resources stop you. The trick is coming up with stories that aren’t dependent on the things you don’t have. A lot of our early films were mostly silent because we didn’t have actors. Non-actors work much better if you don’t give them dialogue. Don’t give into the excuses. They are evil and don’t want you to succeed. You can do it!
