Before Nick & Norah and their Infinite Playlist, the most famous Nick & Nora were Nick & Nora Charles from the wonderful Thin Man series of movies in the 30s and 40s. They were a husband and wife detective team that solved a different crime in each movie. However, the plots were always secondary to the delightfully comic chemistry between William Powell and Myrna Loy. The Thin Man was the first in the series. Check it out. I think you’ll enjoy it.
