I’ve been able to meet some amazing Christians in California. It really puts the Bible belt to shame. From what I can tell, it’s harder to be a Christian out here because it isn’t as socially acceptable as it is in the south. So the people who profess Christ really mean it.

I’ve been prideful to think that God needs me here. He doesn’t NEED me. He has allowed me to join Him in what He is doing. If my pride is hurt to find out that I am not unique in my spiritual walk – then that’s just it – PRIDE.

I’m excited to be out here working alongside some amazing believers.
