I had lunch with a Christian producer out here. He was so encouraging – in a backwards way. He said he couldn’t care less about my career – he said my presence in LA means that another crazy Christian is here to affect lives for Christ. He said I represent future changed lives. Wow.

Regarding my career – he said that I’m in a city full of people who can do what I do better than I can do it. I can’t let that intimidate me. That should inspire me to learn and to work harder than any of them. Michael Bay and Stephen Sommers don’t make the greatest films but they are the hardest workers in the industry – that’s why they keep getting to do what they do. (I wasn’t aware that Michael Bay is actually his own AD. Crazy.)
