Questions for a TV Writer/Director

I wrote a guest article for our friend Emmet Gibney over at FilmSchoolStudent.com about my conversation with Tim Minear, show-runner on Firefly. I spoke with him on our recent trip to LA at a filmmakers workshop. Here is the first paragraph.

“One of the most important things a filmmaker needs to do is interact with people doing what they want to be doing. For years I said I wanted to direct but until I got on a real set, spoke with a real director, and watched him work I didn’t really know what it meant.”

Hey! So, completely off the topic..(kind of but NOT really)…my friend Katie moved her recently from TN. She has done a few films and is looking to get more involved in “acting”..so..if you need someone to read for a part…she might be your lady. I mean, she’s pretty good…but I’m bias. :) AH!
