First Screening

We had a screening of Dangerous Calling last Saturday night in Duluth, Georgia. There were 19 of us in attendance. Mostly people who have worked on the film. Some who hadn’t seen or heard anything about it. Everyone in attendance felt that we had made a really good film. We’re excited to get back to editing and smooth out the rough edges. We’re still looking for a post-house to do color correction, sound design, ADR, and some minor VFX.
Our goal is to have the film done by mid-January.
In other news… I still don’t have an iPhone. If I did, I’d post about it on my blog every day. (This is a test to see if Apple reads our blog. Hehe.)
And no, that wasn’t a random jump from the screening to the iPhone. One of the attendees, Aaron Blevins, who worked as our AD on the film just purchased an iPhone and was showing it off. And our DP, Chris Campbell was showing his off as well. This made me very jealous…
BTW, have you see those 3 new commercials for the iPhone? They are regular people talking about the awesome things you can do with an iPhone.
And with that, I will have typed iPhone 5 times in this blog post. (Six if you count that last one.) Will Apple take notice? Only time will tell.

I can help you out with the sound design, VFX and color correction if you don’t mind working with someone in Ohio. Feel free to drop me a line.

Jer, I don’t have an iPhone either, although I’m not brilliant enough to use one. Aaron probably didn’t tell you that the only reason he has one now is because he wanted his Christmas present early. That just means he’ll only get underwear and socks for Christmas!!!:) I can’t wait to see Dangerous Calling.

That’s the awesome thing about the iPhone. It is soo user friendly. Maybe I should ask Santa Claus for an iPhone for Christmas. But can I wait that long???

I’m so excited about this movie. I’m not sure if you remember me but I was an extra for a few days and I helped out as a Production Assistant for a few hours….when we were at the Northside Church (when the big storm came). Thanks so much for letting me participate in this film and I will you all the best of look.
