Blood Diamond = Cool

I went to see Blood Diamond the other night.  Apparently it hasn’t done very well in the box office because there was only one showing and that was at 9:45pm.  Initially, I didn’t want to see this movie.  Just didn’t interest me.  But then I heard that it was directed by Ed Zwick.  That’s a horse of a different color.  Two of my favorite films, Glory and Last Samurai, were directed by this guy.  He’s awesome.  So I gave it a shot.

It was awesome.  Go see it.  Even DiCaprio was great.  This is my pick for best film of 2006.  I describe it as Hotel Rwanda meets Casablanca meets… RAMBO!!!

Seriously.  Go see it.  I loved it.
